Devo aguardar o tempo de recuperação que o meu GPS indica?

It’s definitely happened to you before, at the end of some workouts, your GPS indicating a very long recovery time!
This raises the question of whether you should wait for this recovery period before resuming physical activity.

Nowadays, most GPS devices have the option to assign a recovery time through calculations.
Depending on the training performed or the GPS device, this recovery time estimate is sometimes given in hours, or in some cases, even in days. This is especially true when you already have a workout scheduled for the following day. So the question is, should we wait this number of hours or days before we can resume physical activity again?

First, you need to understand how recovery time prediction is calculated.
This recovery time is calculated by an algorithm, based on several physiological studies. The algorithm predicts your recovery time, taking into account your assigned training zones, the intensity and duration of the workout, as well as your history recorded on that GPS.
The truth is that this calculation is only a speculation of your total recovery time, that is, until you are fully recovered from that training session, based on the point mentioned above.

Answering the question above… you don’t need to wait that many hours or days to resume physical activity; you can resume the next day. Always keep in mind the training program planned by your physical trainer.
