Have you ever experienced a slight pressure starting in the corner of your hand, which gradually increases until you notice a slight numbness, which then spreads and increases to your little and ring fingers?
This is due to the depression being exerted on the ulnar nerve, which is connected to the little and ring fingers, thus causing numbness in the corner of the hand and consequently in the respective fingers.
This is the most common type of hand numbness among cyclists, but there are different types of hand numbness!
In a large percentage of cases it is related to how well the bicycle fits the cyclist,
in a minority of cases it will be a matter of postural correction or physical problems.
