Following the tips given in the post “Training on the roller, but how? (part #1)
Roller training typically “forces” an even more static position than usual. If the athlete remains seated for an extended period, this can cause significant discomfort in the perineal region. In men, in particular, it can result in inflammatory processes in the prostate.
To prevent these significant discomforts and potential injuries, you should not extend your training time by much more than 1 hour and 30 minutes. Furthermore, you should take care to constantly stand up from the saddle and pedal standing up for a few moments to relieve pressure on the perineal area.
